There are hard days behind you, and there are hard days in front of you.
As a student of The Journey to Total Freedom class, you must remember healing is a process.
Here are a few inspirational sayings you can remember:
- Divine exchange; you give God your mess, He gives you His righteousness.
- What you hide has power over you.
- What is buried alive never dies.
- Let your mess be your ministry.
- Your pain can be someone else's gain.
- You’re not in line for a miracle until nothing can fix your problem but God.
When you're having a bad day and feeling vulnerable, have a list of things to do to distract yourself. However, give your “distraction” a time limit. Otherwise, whatever you are putting off will be harder to deal with. The more you try to suppress and deny feelings, the longer it takes to heal. Plus, you won’t be able to fully enjoy your “distraction” with all those nawing feelings in the pit of your stomach. The point of healing is to treat the wounds, not ignore them.
Genesis 50:20 – “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” We realize that God has brought us out of the terrible damage of the past and placed us on a path of freedom. Satan’s attempt to destroy us backfired. God is releasing us from the pain a little more every day as we lean on Him.
Remember your
“Bricks in Your Wall” that hindered your relationships with God and other people. In the days and months to come, remember what you have studied.
When you struggle with Anger
Remember – God already knows how angry you are.
Ephesians 4:26 (NIV) “In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.”
When you struggle with Un-forgiveness
Remember – The myths and truths we learned about forgiveness. Only God can forgive and forget. “But as we have been forgiven, so we must forgive.” Matthew 6:12
When you feel alone
Remember – You’re not alone anymore! You are connected to God. You have chosen to let this pain take you to God – to allow your hunger for something better to push you to him.

Prayer for Generational Bondages
“They overcame the adversary by the blood of the Lamb, and the word of their testimony”… Rev. 12:11
Father, I confess that my family and I have been bound in generational iniquities of abuse. You are faithful and just to show forgiveness of sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We have an advocate, our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, who pleads our case. All power is in the blood of the Lamb, which sealed our “not guilty” verdict.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and on the basis of His finished work, I take back from the enemy all ground that our family has given him. I reject his influence and cover these areas with the blood of Jesus. In Jesus’ name, I bind, cancel, and break all spirits that are keeping me in bondage. The enemy has no legal ground in my life to continue to exploit the generational strongholds, because the power of the cross rendered him legally null and void.
I bring God’s word against the enemy. I submit to God and resist the devil, so he has to flee. The finished word of my Lord Jesus Christ binds powers, principalities, and rulers of the darkness, thrones, dominions, and spiritual wickedness in high places. The name and authority in Jesus, rebukes, cancels, and nullifies all wicked contracts and assignments of familiar spirits. This is a legal cease and desist order. The enemy cannot win – God contends with those who contend with us.
Lord, send mighty warrior angels to protect us at the command of Jesus. True and living God, send all curses back to their source. Refer the consequences to the cross of the worthy Lamb of God, who bore them by His sinless sacrifice. We are your blood-bought children. Send angels to fill up this house, so that nothing can influence us but the power of the living God. Come, Holy Spirit, into our greatest needs and give us a revelation that Jesus is the answer. Speak grace, truth, wisdom, and revelation to us in love. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. The Lord Jesus Christ has all authority here, Amen.
John 13:1 It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father.
Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love.
