Q. My abuse only happened one time and lasted for 5 minutes, do I really need this class?
A. Yes! If it hurts, this class can help you find healing.

Q. The abuse happened 10... 30...50 years ago. Do I still need this class?
A. Just like the above answer, yes. If it causes you pain, the best thing you can do is find healing. Most women who attend the class did experience some kind of abuse in their past 10...20...30+ years ago. For many women, this will be the first time they've sought help for these issues as they've never told anyone about what they experienced in their past.

Q. I've experienced years of abuses through multiple abusers. Can this class help even me?
A. Yes! No matter what your experiences and circumstances are/were, this class will make a huge impact in your daily life.

Q. I've only experienced one of the abuses (mental, physical, or sexual abuse), not all three. Is this class for me?
A. Yes! Many of our life lessons can be applied to only one type of abuse. Remember, we don't focus on the abuse experience itself, but how to heal it.

Q. I've been going to therapy for years, how does this class differ?
A. We don't focus on sharing your story. Rather, we focus on Biblical truths and how to apply them in order to heal your past and move forward.

Q. I'm not a Christian, and am unsure about my faith in anything. Can this class still help me?
A. Yes! While this study is Bible based, you can still apply parts of the life lessons to your own life. However, many women do find/strengthen their relationship with God the Father through this class.

Q. Will I have to confront my abuser?
A. NO! In many circumstances this would be a contradiction to your safety. However, for a few women who have prayed about it and felt lead to do so, may choose to confront their abuser. But it is never required or advised to do so.

Q. How often is this class offered?
A. Twice a year.

Q. When is the next class?
A. Contact Michele for specific dates and time.

Q. I will be unable to attend the weekend retreat, can I still take the class?
A. Yes, you can still take the class. However, It is encouraged to attend the retreat and all classes if possible since we cover many lessons in a short period of time.
