The Journey to Total Freedom class meets at First Assembly of God in North Little Rock.
Click here for directions. This class is for women who have endured mental, physical and sexual abuse in their childhood.
The focus of this class is not on the abuse experience itself. At no time will you be required to tell "your story".
This class uses a Biblically based study to begin your journey to restoration and healing.
Our Mission
To provide a "Journey to Total Freedom" from the pain of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse through group study and
development of a personal relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ.
Our Purpose
To offer a safe, nurturing environment where the injuries and impact of abuse can be explored openly and honestly.
(Again, at no time will you be required to tell "your story".
To expose what Satan has done in secrecy and darkness to the light of God's Word, love and healing.
Our Goal
To provide understanding of issues surrounding abuse.
To accept the fact that the abuse was not the survivors fault.
To assume responsibility for our individual choices.
To provide tools that will aid in being set free from the bondage of Satan's schemes and experience the impact of
forgiveness, peace, and joy that come from healing.
To bring under control the emotional extremes which may be related to abuse
(i.e. anger, rage, bitterness, self/other centered contempt).
To gently and practically point survivors toward spiritual health and reclamation of a broken childhood.
Our first class began January 2006 with Michele Tyson as the teacher. Because of the sensitivity of the subject,
please contact
Michele for specific dates and time of our next class.
There is a $25 cost for supplies. Class will meet every week for 6 consecutive weeks plus a weekend retreat.
Class usually lasts 2 hours. Nursery will be provided upon request.
